March is always an exciting month here at Live Wires, bringing as it does the opportunity to show off the cream of our products for the year at the Autumn Gift Fair in Auckland. Helen and Jenny have recently returned from the Birmingham Fair, where they found an inspiring abundance of new cards, stationery and gifts. (This was despite dismal forecasts of both a meteorological and an economic nature!) Now it is Live Wires’ turn to show these products and more, here in New Zealand.
Cards, we believe, will remain a popular purchase, even in times when household budgets are constrained. We have gathered together a vast array of the distinctive cards you have come to expect from us. In particular, we are proud to bring you our own innovative and very sophisticated line called Bright Sparks. We look forward to your feedback about it.
In a previous newsletter, we made mention of the Roald Dahl range from Roger la Borde. We are delighted to have obtained these quirky and colourful products, of which a wider range will be available this month. Dahl is such a perennial favourite with readers young and old that these pencil cases, diaries, badges and stamp kits are sure to be very popular. Follow the link to rogerlaborde.com.
Finally, a word about some changes to our reps. At the end of February we said farewell to Angela Jameson, who for the last two years has been our representative in the Hawkes Bay, Gisborne and Bay of Plenty. We would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her efforts on behalf of Live Wires and wish her all the very best for her future in the real estate business.
With Angela’s departure, Bridget Wildman, who is already a familiar face to our customers in the centre of the North Island, will extend her territory to the East Coast. As a result of these changes, Bridget will hand over responsibility for the Hamilton area to Chrissie McLay. We are very pleased to be able to provide continuity of service to all our customers and we thank Bridget and Chrissie for making this possible.
