Hello Again from Live Wires
As always, the purpose of our monthly newsletter is to keep you, the retailer, informed about products and services we can provide for you. So with customer relations in mind, this month we begin a series of profiles of Live Wires’ staff, starting with the person you are most likely to have spoken to other than your rep. If you have ever made a call to our office in Petone, chances are that the phone was answered by Mary McMaster, whose responsibilities within the company include customer service and stock management. We thought you might like to know a little more about the woman behind the reassuring voice. Mary has been with the company for twelve years and her knowledge of Live Wires’ products is encyclopedic. She prides herself on attention to detail and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that Live Wires’ customers are well looked after. An expert shopper and newly addicted gym-bunny, Mary has many interests including New Zealand art, good wine, travel, (especially to see her adult children overseas), and gardening. She certainly epitomizes the saying that if you want a job done, you should ask a busy person!
By the time you read this, Mother’s Day 2009 will just about be done and dusted. Shannon Martin bath-salts and Punch Studio notebooks have been popular in the lead up to this occasion and will no doubt continue to sell well as tasteful, inexpensive gifts through the winter months. Graduation is a smaller but significant occasion in May, which many New Zealanders mark by giving a card. Do talk to your rep about the selection of graduation cards we have on offer.

Finally, we would like you to know that we have a shipment from the UK arriving towards the end of May. It contains product that many of you will have ordered at the Autumn Fair, including the gorgeous Roger la Borde cosmetic bags and wash bags. We have had quite a wait for these to become available, but they will certainly be worth it. We anticipate being able to fill back orders for them by the end of the first week in June.
