Life is such a strange mix of joys and sorrows. We began this blog full of good cheer, but will take some time today to think about sadder times.
A sympathy card can be very difficult to choose, but we have probably all experienced receiving a card that was truly comforting in the worst of times. Many people prefer to write their own expressions of condolence rather than send a printed message which may not be entirely appropriate.
Today, I looked around the stock room for some cards to send to bereaved relatives in England. As you can imagine, I am surrounded by beautiful cards from Europe and North America, but it doesn't seem to me to make much sense to send a card back to its country of origin.
So, I chose some general cards from Palm Prints.I like the idea that they are unique to this country. The images reflect the beauty of nature and gently affirm the the continuity of life. I will put my own thoughts inside and hope they will offer some small consolation.
