Abbey Merson

Abbey is a New Zealand artist and painter, who works out of her small Back Room studio, a converted stock room out back of Magpie in the heart of Hastings. After years working as a framer, she stepped out early last year to realise her dream of being a full time artist. 

She now paints daily. Inspired by nature – its mix of colour and form, people and life’s challenges, her work is full of joy and vibrancy. It translates well to the cards we have produced for her – the eight cards in the range are bright and stylised.
