Tips & tricks for using the Live Wires website.

The website upgrade in October 2018 has allowed us to introduce some great new features making it even easier to use!

View Products by Brand or by Product Type

You can choose to order by brand if you know which companies you want to stock eg Roger La Borde under International Brands. You might prefer to browse the online catalogue by product type eg if you are looking for journals you can look at all the journals from all our suppliers at the same time.

“NZ Brand” Icon

This icon indicates that the products is from a New Zealand brand and designed here in New Zealand. For information about where products are made you will need to check each product’s details.

“New” icon

This icon indicates that the product was added to our website within the last couple months.

“Code” icon

Need to copy the product code? Just click the button it copies it for you.

Downloading product images

You can download product images by selecting the image and then clicking the download icon at the top left, this opens the image in a new tab and will allow you to easily save it to your computer.

View your website order history

Hover over the profile icon in the top menu and select orders to view past website orders (only for orders placed through our new website)

Stock Eta’s on website orders and order history

The stock Eta’s you see on the email copy of your website orders and in your online order history are a snapshot of what the stock availability was at the time of that order.

Forgotten Cart Reminder

It is common to be interrupted while browsing and ordering from the website. If you forget to complete an order the website will send you an email reminder.

Already added to Cart

If a product was already added to your cart earlier in your order it will indicate this to you.

Live Wires Retailer Map

Put your store on our map! Website visitors can search a location on the map and see local Live wires retailers. If you sell our products to the public you can add a listing to our retailer map to promote your business through our website - it only takes a few minutes - click here for instructions.
